Sandy Hutton
President
I have been a Republican for over 25 years and my husband and I have always been very active in political clubs and groups in the communities where we have lived.  I feel that, one of the most important things we can do, as citizens of this country is to be well informed, vigilant, and to be political activists in matters that concern us.  I am currently a member of the Pinellas County Republican Executive Committee, Treasurer of the South Garden Women's Club and was formerly on the Advisory Council of the Save America Foundation, a conservative organization, and was very active in the Friends of the Biltmore Group (for the preservation of the Belleview Biltmore Hotel).

I have had a career in sales, marketing, banking and finance:  eight years in banking, ending the last three years as an Executive Vice President, and going on 23 years now, as a Senior Vice President in the securities industry.  Needless to say, my favorite newspaper is the Wall Street Journal.  My wonderful husband and I merged families of six children over 25 years ago.  We now have five grandchildren.  My career years have taken me from the Midwest (Indianapolis) to the south (Memphis) and to the southwest (Dallas) and on to the Sunshine State.  My husband is from Connecticut and New Jersey.  His mother was the first woman state representative for the state of Connecticut (Republican, of course).  We have had many wonderful family travels and many ventures around the world.   Being Texans before we became Floridians, we worked especially hard in the campaigns of George "Dubya" Bush, and went to both his inaugurations.  I will always cherish our collection of White House Christmas cards from the Bush years.

My passions are reading, writing, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, politics, Bible studies and my faith in God and community activities.  The gutsiest and one of the most fun things I ever did was skydiving with my daughters (once only!) and being a passenger in an ultra light hang glider over Kauai, Hawaii.  My fondest memories of traveling are of the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Biblical sites in Israel and African safari adventures.

I love Belleair and am honored to be the president  of  this great club of Republican women.
